December 8, 2020 – ST. LOUIS, MO – Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc.™ (“IIA”) – a leader in providing inspection, testing, and analytical services – has acquired St. Louis Testing Laboratories, Inc. (“SLTL”).

Founded in 1929 and based in St. Louis, MO, SLTL is a leading commercial testing laboratory that performs testing and inspection services for industrial clients via nondestructive testing, mechanical testing, chemical analysis, metallurgical analysis, and environmental analysis.

Industrial Inspection & Analysis Acquires Assets of Fail Safe Testing, LLC

September 1, 2020 – MANALAPAN, NJ – Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc.TM (“IIA”) – a leader in providing inspection, testing, and analytical services – has expanded its service offerings with the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Fail Safe Testing, LLC (“Fail Safe”). Based in Manalapan, NJ, Fail Safe is a national leader in fire hose, pump and ladder testing to the United States fire service industry.

Established in 1988, Fail Safe is the predominant provider of hydrostatic fire hose pressure testing, ground ladder testing, fire pump testing, aerial ladder testing, and nozzle and appliance testing for independent fire houses, municipal fire departments, fire districts, and corporate fire departments in the United States.

Founded in 1969, DI/ITL is the largest independent, third-party, safety and integrity inspection firms in the country specializing in on-site inspections of vehicle-mounted aerial lifts, digger derricks, fire trucks, airline ground support equipment and live-line tools for a variety of companies, public & private utilities and municipalities.

Industrial Inspection & Analysis Acquires Timco Engineering

January 17, 2018 – NEWBERRY, FL Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc. (IIA) USA – a leader in providing inspection, testing, and engineering services for the energy and manufacturing industries – has acquired Timco Engineering, Inc (Timco). With this acquisition, IIA adds all of Timco’s highly regarded product safety testing and certification services with strategic locations in the U.S. and China.

Timco Engineering services include testing and certification of consumer products and other devices emitting RF waves for compliance with the requirements of the Federal Communications Commission, Industry Canada, and the European Commission.

IIA will strategically align Timco Engineering with its existing brands, expanding its global platform and will continue operations under the Timco name.

January 2, 2018 – BRAMPTON, ONTARIO Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc. (IIA) USA expands its service offerings with the recent acquisition of Domson Engineering and Inspection Ltd. Domson Engineering and Inspection is well-known as an industry leader when it comes to inspection, certification, and engineering services for the crane and lift industry. Domson also specializes in providing visual inspection, nondestructive testing and engineering support for construction, power generation, oil & gas, chemical, steel fabrication, and manufacturing industries.

The Domson acquisition extends the IIA brand for testing, inspection and certification services into Canada, providing additional technical and engineering support to its customers both in Canada and the U.S.

Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc. Acquires Fox NDE, LLC and Eagle NDT, LLC

May 1, 2017 – ABILENE, TX – Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc. (“IIA”) acquired Fox NDE, LLC (“Fox”) and Eagle NDT, LLC (“Eagle”). Alongside US NDI, the addition of Fox and Eagle greatly increases IIA’s presence in the field radiography and field non-destructive testing (NDT) sector.

Fox NDE, based in Abilene, TX, is a non-destructive testing company primarily engaged in providing top quality radiography and NDT services. Fox NDE also has a satellite office in South Texas.

Eagle NDT, LLC is based in Abilene, TX, and has a strong presence in South Texas as well as a satellite office in Carlsbad, NM. Eagle prides itself on providing top quality radiography services as well as non-destructive and welder testing to oil, gas and wind energy companies.

The addition of Fox/Eagle is a great complement to IIA’s field services group, which includes US NDI. IIA will now have a strong presence throughout West Texas, South Texas, and Eastern New Mexico by offering the capability to service larger jobs with the significant increase in size.

In the immediate term Fox and Eagle are combining into “Fox NDE” and will be operating under the same umbrella. The south Texas offices have combined into a single site in Pleasanton, TX so that they can operate under the same roof. Please visit the new Pleasanton site should you be in the area. Over the coming weeks and months IIA is undertaking a longer review to determine the best way to organize and brand US NDI and Fox as a larger combined field business that is built to serve customers better. IIA will now have field offices in West Texas (Abilene, Odessa), South Texas (Pleasanton) and Eastern New Mexico (Carlsbad).

The acquisition of Fox/Eagle is a big step forward in IIA’s mission to build a national level industrial inspection company focused on customer service and technical leadership.

Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc. Acquires The QC Group, Inc.

November 23, 2015 – MINNETONKA, MN – The QC Group, Inc. has become a part of Industrial Inspection & Analysis, Inc. (IIA) and is now under the legal name QC Group, LLC. IIA is a high-growth industrial inspection business that is building national-level service across a wide variety of testing disciplines and industries. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA, IIA has 7 offices nationwide.

As part of IIA, QC Group is in a preferred position to grow with its current and future customers, to add capacity, and now offers nondestructive testing services through IIA’s lab in Sunnyvale, CA. The Sunnyvale lab is certified by NADCAP, the Defense Logistics Agency, and is a certified FAA repair station. IIA also offers field nondestructive testing services through US NDI – an IIA subsidiary located in Abilene, TX – and nondestructive testing consulting services through Infinium NDE located in Delray Beach, FL.
